Bahria University was established by the Pakistan Navy in 2000. Since then, it has steadily grown into one of Pakistan’s leading higher education institutions. It plays a significant role in grooming future leaders who can make a positive difference in the world around them. Academic Guidance

Bahria University Islamabad provides academic guidance to all students through a team of professional student advisors. The main purpose is to help the students improve their chances of academic success. The student-advisor relationship is a partnership which has responsibilities on both sides. The responsibilities of the student advisors are:

1. Guiding the student in selecting courses.
2. Explaining how to transfer credits.
3. Informing and explaining the admission procedure.
4. Assisting in the general adjustment to university life.
5. Serving as a resource person.
6. Guiding students to meet graduation requirements.

Internships

Our internship program helps the students and their prospective employers to get to know each other. Consequently, this increases the students’ prospects of securing permanent employment after graduation. The minimum internship period for graduating students of Bachelor and Masters Programs is six weeks. The students must meet the following requirements before applying for internships:

1. Complete a minimum of four semesters if they are in the BBA/BS program and a minimum of two semesters if they are in the MBA/MS program.
2. As mentioned above, you should have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.5 at the end of the period.
3. The student will work on a project during their internship period. Then, submit a report to the University at the end of it for evaluation. This report must have a certificate from the organization where the internship was done; otherwise, it will not be evaluated. The Institute will award the report a grade of acceptable/unacceptable status depending on its quality.
4. The procedure/duration of the Internship at IPP (Institute of Clinical Psychology) may vary according to the requirements of the Institute.
