About MY University Islamabad
MY University Islamabad was established in 2015. It is a non-profit private higher education institute. The university is located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Islamabad. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan officially recognizes MY University Islamabad. MYU offers programs and courses leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, such as bachelor’s degrees in several areas of study. It also provides students with several academic and non-academic services and facilities, including sports facilities, a library, scholarships, financial aid, and administrative services.

Admissions at MY University Islamabad
Muslim Youth University (MY) opens admissions for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs on a regular basis. The students who have appeared in HSSC (Part II) or an equivalent examination and are awaiting results are eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
1. 12 years of field-related education, and passed with at least second division from any registered institution.
2. 50% marks in entry test.
Selection Criteria for Graduate Programs
1. 16 years of education with at least second division with an aggregate of 45% in the annual system and 2.5 CGPA in the semester system.
2. 50% marks in entry test.
Admissions Procedure
- The candidates can apply online by filling out the form on the website. The form contains the important information, so it has to be completed in full. The candidates can also call the admission office for information related to admission.
- The students who want to appear in the BS Computer Science program must have obtained at least 40 % marks in HSSC. The students must take an entrance test for admission to the program.
- To get admission to a BS in civil engineering or electrical engineering, the students must have acquired 60% marks in pre-engineering or equivalent. The university entrance test is also compulsory.
- The candidate must have at least 45% marks in HSSC for admission to BS International Relations. Entrance examination is also compulsory for admission in this program.
